1. Our Privacy Commitment

SRM Helper is a static website built for students. We do not collect, store or process personal data. There are no user accounts, no login systems, no databases and no forms that store submitted data. Any tool input (GPA calculator, quick notes, attendance calculator) runs entirely in your browser and is never sent to any server.

2. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool — to understand aggregate visitor behaviour and improve the site. Plausible Analytics:

• Does not use cookies — no cookie consent banner is needed
• Does not collect personal data — no IP addresses are stored (they are anonymised before processing)
• Does not track across sites — no user profiles, no cross-device tracking, no fingerprinting
• Is GDPR, CCPA and PECR compliant out of the box
• Is hosted at click.pageview.click (a Plausible-compatible endpoint)

The only data visible to us is aggregate: total page views, top pages, referral sources, countries and device types. This data cannot be used to identify any individual user.

3. Cookies

SRM Helper does not set any cookies — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for advertising. This site is entirely cookie-free.

4. Third-Party Services

The site loads one third-party script: Plausible Analytics (click.pageview.click). This script is loaded with the defer attribute and does not block page rendering. We do not embed any other third-party scripts, advertisements, or tracking pixels.

5. Data Sharing

Since we collect no personal data, we share no personal data with any third party — for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose. There is nothing to share.

6. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for university students aged 18 and above. Since we do not collect personal data from any user, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Data Security

SRM Helper is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a static hosting platform. All connections are served over HTTPS. Since no user data is stored, there is no database to breach and no user information to leak. Tools on this site (calculators, notes scratchpad, number converter) run locally in your browser using JavaScript. No input is transmitted off-device.

8. Your Rights

Under data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data. Since we do not collect or store any personal data, these rights are inherently honoured — there is no data to access, correct, delete or port.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be announced via a notice on the homepage.
